About

Alice Moon is a Los Angeles-based entrepreneur with 14 years of experience in the cannabis industry. Known for her sharp storytelling and creative strategy, she currently works as a publicist at top cannabis PR agency, Kip Morrison & Associates (KMA), where she helps brands get noticed in places that matter — from Forbes and High Times to the New York Times, LA Times, PopSugar, MJ Biz Daily, and more.

Her cannabis career kicked off in 2011 as a trimmer and budtender, eventually leading to the launch of an edible locator app, which earned a nomination for Best Tech at the 2017 Dope Magazine Awards and was dubbed “The Yelp of Edibles.” Moon later appeared on Viceland’s Bong Appétit and CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live Special, and has since carved out a reputation as a go-to expert for cannabis media relations.

Moon has been featured in The Washington Post, The New York Times, LA Times, High Times, Forbes, Business Insider, Cannabis & Tech Today, Benzinga, Yahoo Documentaries, and many many more publications ranging from mainstream to cannabis to lifestyle media.

Named one of Green Market Report’s 100 Most Important Women in Cannabis and 40 Under 40 by Marijuana Venture in 2023, Alice is always exploring new ways to elevate the cannabis space through PR, influencer campaigns, social media, and writing.

Alice has spoken at a plethora of events throughout her career, bringing her knowledge to attendees of some of the most intimate and biggest conferences in the country.
